BUY B.C. - FOOD INDUSTRY MARKET DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Representative:

BRITISH COLUMBIA MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND FOOD

Reason: To offer financial aid to increase market activities for B.C. agri-food industry.

Requirements: All British Columbia agri-food industry ventures.

Reward: Grants available to offset costs of business. Amounts range

between 10 and 30% of total costs.

COMMUNITY FUTURES DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (CFDC)

Reason: To obtain financing opportunities in the form of commercial term

loans, equity financing and loan guarantees

Requirements: Operating or about to operate in a rural area of B.C. in a designated CFDC area

Reward: To receive financing of up to $175,000 and possibly up to $500,000
