Besides free Government Grants, there are two other types of grants offered by grant Canada as well:
Conditionally Repayable Contribution Grants:
These government grants are small investments that the government is ready to make in small projects that have certain risks of failing. If the project does fail, the business will not have to repay the government grant. This provides the business the opportunities to expand to new markets and become more risk averse towards uncertain projects.
Equity Financing Grants:
Equity Financing is a type of government grant that will get the government to invest in your business. The government will offer more flexible terms than the private investors, or banks, as they have more time to focus on their potential returns.
